Studio Paintings

The important with technique in art, is not that you do it the ”right way”.

What you need is to find the means that enables you to express your ideas.

For me, that involves colortheory, perspective and use of certain mediums.

I use oilcolor and prefer the brand Mussini. The medium I use is Liquin, an alcyd-oil harts medium. That is the only medium I use and I use it as varnish as well as the final varnish for the painting.
In this way I do not have to use turpentine, which is unfriendly to the oil.

Below you see some of my paintings, where a majority is painted during the last five years.
